Abstract

This research evaluates the effectiveness of constructed wetlands for treating domestic wastewater in rural communities across three Indian states. Our pilot installations demonstrate 92% removal of BOD and 88% removal of total suspended solids, providing an economically viable alternative to conventional treatment plants.
