Abstract
The integration of renewable energy sources into existing smart grid infrastructure poses significant technical challenges. This paper analyzes voltage stability, frequency regulation, and power quality issues arising from high renewable penetration. We propose a hybrid energy storage system combined with advanced predictive algorithms that effectively mitigates intermittency challenges, demonstrating 99.2% grid stability in simulated environments.
